    The pay is not great… They became a electrician and a drafter which x2-x3 their pay from a qualified mechanic

  if we talking EV, it requires more service compared to original car which is made of durable metal and very less electronics. thats how i see it anyways, each to their own.

Since you're based in Sydney, try calling Training Services NSW, 13 28 11.
You might even be able to do it for free under the Smart and Skilled initiative. Ask to speak to an Assistant Training Advisor or Training Advisor. Need anything else, PM me.
