iOS version?
No thanks.
Both my Android and IOS phones have manual mode avaliable, why would I want to download this app? I wonder what data this app collects? No thanks!
Only pics of Steve's D.
It won't happen as the front facing cam is blocked :-)
Piece of blu-tack or a bandaid over the camera has worked wonders for generations
I wonder what data this app collects?
It has no internet permissions, so even if it collects data, it can't send that data anywhere. Any data stays on your phone.
Edit: despite play store denying it, this app does have internet permission, which can only be found AFTER you install it. And you'll need a proper permission detector, I use this one: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=in.arjsna.perm…
I used this app on a previous android handset, it was a step up from the camera app it came with. Using a Pixel now so, y'know…
Seems to be a pretty common discount of free https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/724561
Help! I downloaded this and now I feel the overriding desire to judge anyone who doesn't shoot in full manual and raw!
All right, I've been thinking. When life gives you lemons? Don't make lemonade. Make life take the lemons back! Get mad!
As a photographer, i really don't think anyone would use manual control.
It's rare, but there are occasions when manual control is better. As an example, when you want to photograph an actor as they walk onto the stage. Before they walk on, there's nothing to focus on. Auto-focus can take too long, and you'll miss the moment.
With manual control, you can focus on another actor in the same position, lock the focus, and wait for the actor you want to photograph. Or just manually set the focus mid-way between the stage front and the backdrop curtains, and wait.
Similarly, some cameras have terrible auto-focus in dark scenes, or are unable to focus at all. With manual focus, you can focus during a brightly-lit scene, and snap away in the dimly-lit scenes.
Manual is the only option in many circumstances.
Guess you're not a concert photographer. To get good results you pretty much have to shoot in manual mode at rock concerts with lots of flashing lights.
NYE fireworks, another situation where manual mode works well.
It's not even worth $0.
The free G cam app stacks/aligns/blends etc. better than these simple apps do for significantly better signal to noise and as a result dynamic range, colour etc.
I wonder how many people have actually paid for such apps.
Can vouch its auto stabilisation is better than the stock camera on my Chinese phone
It can't seem to change the shutter time thoughDSLR stands for digital single lens reflex. Reflex, is the mirror.
No app is gonna introduce a mirror into a phone. What a dumb name for an app.I was like that back in 19th century when everyone started calling the boxed contraption a bedroom.
Camera, phew!
