Are iPhone's Purchased Outright from Telstra Network Locked?

I'm going to buy an iPhone SE 3rd edition via "Telstra Plus" outright (no plan), by redeeming some points I have there + cash.

Could someone please confirm whether the device will be locked to Telstra or not?

  iPhones aren’t locked to networks anymore as far as I know. Call Telstra to confirm before you order rather than taking random peoples word for it.

    According to their website these phones are locked. The cheap prepaid ones can be.

      Yeah the cheap android phones are. A Pixel 4a I once got from them wasn't locked.

  I got an iPhone through the last Telstra Day and it wasn’t locked. We have a Coles Mobile (Optus) prepaid plan.
