My friend from oversea just bought a Lebara 30 Day Starter Pack for $6 (reduced from $24.90) today. He couldn't seem to activate it online with overseas personal details. I tried to activate the SIM with my local details and I still couldn't go through the activation process. Why is it so hard? Has anyone encountered the same problem?
Since the Lebara support is offline now, I will try to call them up first thing in the morning tomorrow to see if they can help.
I've activated 10+ Lebara SIM's over the years and never had a problem. I haven't tried using overseas details, but that could have initially been the problem. I am unsure why the site won't accept your Australian details.
They have live chat on the website who are usually quite helpful, but as you have found out you will need to wait until tomorrow morning to get help.
