Same as historical lowest price on 3x Camels, which was for a very brief period. I have seen the price of this being consistently around $110 to $118 for many months which is reflected on 3x camels.
Fulfilled by Amazon. Free delivery either way if you have Prime or if you don't because it's over $39+.

Neewer are known for their decent quality gear at low prices. As you can read in the reviews some mention the product still works long term.
5500K Pure White LED.
14 inch outer diameter.
Power specs seem to conflict with "36W 180PCS LED" and "55W 240 Pieces LED". The 55W spec is for the 18 inch model not the 14 inch.
This 14 inch model spec is 36w output.

Kelvin white temperature scale for reference (Neewer ring light is 5500K). https://assets.videomaker.com/2021/02/color-temp.jpg

I got the Kmart Fill light and I was a bit disappointed with it's max output. I can stare right into it with it at maximum and it doesn't even hurt my eyes so it isn't all that bright.
If I had a choice I would have paid the extra $22 for the stronger light output of the Neewer.
Neewer Light stand height is 155cm.

  • I can't seem to edit something at the end of the post, when submitting the website thinks I am trying to change the store even though I haven't touched the link.

Anyway this is the edit here.

"I got the Kmart Fill light and I was a bit disappointed with it's max output" +(around 10w according to power consumption).

    • Power and/or consumption <> brightness. Same with stereos <> loudness

  • Aldi has this for $30. Think the special just started. I bought one but haven't tried it yet so can't comment on quality

    • I think I found it. https://www.aldi.com.au/en/special-buys/special-buys-sat-10-…

Can't find it in the recent Special buys catalogue though. Link shows 10 Dec so I think what you saw was some left over stock.
The Aldi one is RGB, while this Neewer one is a 5000K white only.
Also can't find the size reference for the Aldi one, but if it's LED count is true at 208 LED's brightness might be similar?

      • If using it as a decorative coloured light for vlogs/stream probably would be better but surely the straight 5000k one is capable of higher lumen.

And why do special buys always leave out half the relevant specs? In this instance size , wattage, therotetical max lumen etc…

        • "If using it as a decorative coloured light for vlogs/stream probably would be better but surely the straight 5000k one is capable of higher lumen."

Yeah don't remember where I read it but if the Aldi ring light is using RGB LED's to achieve the white modes then I think the LED's are working harder to achieve the same amount of white light.

"And why do special buys always leave out half the relevant specs? In this instance size , wattage, therotetical max lumen etc…"

I don't shop at Aldi but I would find it frustrating. It makes it harder to compare the product to other options, maybe it's intentional.

      • Quite possibly. I've seen it at 2 of 3 stores I've visited in the last week, so high likely hood its not a big seller

I can take some photos of the box if anyones interested?

  • Honestly for $41 and amazons no hassle returns policy. This is not a bad deal. Might get it mainly for product photography using my phone. Thanks OP.

  • I bought this light in 2019 (18" one), and it's still going strong. We use it quite often :D

    • "and it's still going strong. We use it quite often :D"

Cool. A few reviews also say the same thing, over 1 year later and still works reliably. I can expect that from Neewer.

Although these days some of their accessories are getting a bit old (they were great value a 1-2 years ago).
I think Smallrig in a way is the new Neewer for certain accessories, such as ball head mounts etc you pay a bit more and get even better build quality.

  • Thanks OP. I have a Neewer soft box and bi-colour LED plus a stand. All going strong since Sep 21. This will pair nicely with it. Might even tempt me to do some streaming with it.

  • Oh no, missed it :)
    Thanks OP anyway.

    • +1

Welp. Gotta be quick with Amazon deals.
Popular ones expire within minutes. Even if it's less popular seems to always last less than 24 hours.
