So while I can set up basic things, overly complicated tech language isnt my forte. I have been having exactly this problem with my Prime Video on Chromecast w Google TV https://www.amazonforum.com/s/question/0D54P00008HW0FmSAL/pr… , where it ll take about 30+ seconds to load a video, and once its finished it ll try loading and get an error, then eventually plays.
Apparently its something to do with a DNS setting on my router, I have set mine to Google and Cloudflare, but I dont know how to change it back to ISP based? I'm using a Telstra Gen 3 modem but currently on Exetel and there is no option for 'auto gen' or whatever. Heres a photo of my Lan thing https://files.ozbargain.com.au/upload/126302/100877/screensh… , I cut off the DHCP as im not sure if someone can hack it or not lol
The IPV4 primary and secondary dropdown options are all preselected, but only the Telstra one is blank, does that mean I pick that one and it goes to my ISP or does it go back to Telstra.
This only happens with Prime Video, every other app is fine. Seems alot of other people are having this issue as well.
Any guidance would be much appreciated !
Thanks
What options do you have in the drop down list for:
