Any decent 4K monitors under $400? The ones at JB Hi-Fi are a bit steep compared to 2k monitors.
Will be used for amateur photo editing, video editing, media consumption, study, etc. Doesn’t have to be perfect.

Thanks, that looks ok. Specs are about what I want.
In that case if you can hold off for their next big sale I would. Sub $400 easily achievable.
I've got the S2722QC for my WFH setup and I am very happy with it. Can't comment on its colour accuracy, but it's easier on my eyes than my AOC U2879VF and it works flawlessly connecting via USB-C to my laptops.
I paid $369 for my S2722QC via an ebay sale in March 2022, pretty sure I found the sale posted here on OzB.
@muzeeb
calling muzeeb one two three test test
Prism on amazon had some nice boxing day specials
Doesn't have to be perfect? Easy then.

I bought this AOC monitor for $359 last week from Scorptec.

Works well so far. No dead pixels. Highly adjustable stand, even better than a more expensive Samsung monitor I bought first (that I returned due to dead pixels - and stupid CPL still haven't refunded - never buy from CPL).
These were going on sale every couple of months for a while. Might be worth holding out for the next Dell promo, must be one due again soon. https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/727159
Going to need more info. How big? Is refresh rate important? Colour accuracy? Etc
Dell regularly has a 4K monitor at that price ($300-350) on sale. Currently, here is a 27” 4K with USB-C for $450 on sale, not great so I’d wait for a better sale.
