      that depends on how you look at it and your personal issue…
      
      would it matter that a goods or product that has been left on the shelf for 5 years is put into your mouth???
      
      for me, I would feel disgusted, no matter the product would be affected after the expiry date… but for something that has been available for so long but to be used internally or orally in this case.
      
      If this is a washing powder or body washer or shampoo… probably I don't care.
