hi ozbargain
my 2nd monitor which was just a 60hz 1080p 10+ year old husk has finally died off. rip.
looking to buy a replacement for it.
not looking for anything fancy, probably 75hz and good quality and doesn't cost too much.
its only going to be a secondary 1080p monitor to use websites or discord while the main monitor is doing something else (gaming, watching something).
im out the loop on what is considered good these days. LCD, LED, IPS, whatever else. i dunno.
just need a decent 60-75hz 1080p secondary monitor. can be either HDMI or Displayport.
as for budget I guess between $150-250.
if the monitor includes cables that's a plus and isn't too difficult to put together and get going asap.
don't care about brands, i care about quality and lots of good reviews.
looking forward to some suggestions, thanks.
2nd Monitor Died, Need a New One. Suggestions?

Just did a similar upgrade and bought a MSI Optix 23.8in FHD IPS 75Hz FreeSync Gaming Monitor (G241V E2) for $169 at MSY/Umart. It is an IPS and has both HDMI and DP , no VGA & no DVI.
Be aware that MSY/Umart computer system sucks as the in store price is higher than the on line price.
AOC make great specced monitors at a very affordable price.
my 2 x 22" have been faultless for the last 5 years

$115 here though it was posted at $89 delivered just few days ago.

Can I recommend any IPS or VA monitor? At 1080p, I'd go for at max a 24" monitor, look for 1440p for any screen size above that.
You should also consider something from Gumtree or something - better for the environment, and you can save a lot of money, and/or get a much better monitor for your current budget.
Make sure you inspect the physical condition before buying - I got 2 pristine 4K monitors for just 400 AUD a few months back from gumtree
