Hi all,
I got someone selling 4090/7950x gaming PC. The system is a few months old and seem to be running perfectly. I have negotiated him on $4750 price. Do you think it is a good bargain?

thank for pointing out. I have updated the link now.
That psu isn't 800, more like 250. I think he is getting a very good deal out of you, tbh.
How come? I see the same price on amazon australia.

It's a psu from 2013! Might have been worth a bit back then, but these days 1000w gold isn't that amazing, check to see how old that psu is, might be close to running out on it's 10 year warranty. Although I think they might have been selling them till recently.
Thanks. I guess you are right and this $219 PSU will do same job..

@oliman: Yep, the g+ PSUs are budget.

I like some of the latest EVGA PSUs with their coloured fan guards, something different but classy.
@lew380: So even if we consider PSU to be like $200, still building this PC new will cost $5600. How is $4750 negotiated price not good?
It’s ok value wise. Tbh though for probably a grand more you could buy it new. Things can be difficult to exchange depending where they bought parts from. I had a RAM issue in a second hand build I picked up once and even though it was lifetime warranty and I had the invoice PC Case Gear refused to help me out as I wasn’t the original purchaser.
At that price, you may as well shoot $800 more for a near identical rig with brand new parts and a warranty and put it all in your name. This Aftershock 7950x/4090 is $5,575 with 3 years warranty.
Next question… what are you playing? 4090 and a 7950x is overkill for majority of people. You’d save a lot going with a 3080ti/3090 build and maybe a 7900x or 13700k etc.
The AfterShock link you sent is based on Singapore. Their Australia store has this 4090 cheapest build and it is for $6600 AUD. Not to mention it is out of stock/pre-order

Ahh. Rip. Sorry, I didn’t even realise that!
BPC has a 7900x / 4090 deal for about $1000 more if that helps.
I didn't find that $6500ish BPC build, but I found this $13,900 dollar 13900/4090 build which just blew my mind. I wonder what is in this PC that's worthy of the amount?

Was $5595 yesterday with 5% off but that is now expired. Could wait for CNY and hope for another 5-10% off.
Yeah look, crazy. I’m still running my 2080ti which is pushing more frames than I need on my 144hz 3880x1600 monitor for the games I play.
Maybe if you were full time streaming and playing some super intense gaming or massive coding or graphic design etc but 100% it’s diminishing returns on any PC build above 4-5k.
While technically it's a decent saving, it's still used and you haven't told us if it includes all receipts for warranty and boxes with any and all accessories like extra PSU cables etc that don't always gets used in the build.
You could build a similar build just with a different case, AIO, Motherboard and a 13600k or 7700x plus you could go for a better PSU which has 12VHPWR port for a few hundred more and possibly get very close if you give it a month and take advantage of eBay codes and similar discounts, like for example just a few weeks ago i bought that exact gaming OC 4090 for $2999 while the lowest at this point in time is $3049.
If the guy has the receipts, boxes and accessories try and get him down to $4500 or $4600. If none of the things i said before then don't buy it.
Wrong link. That loads up MY build. Which you would be paying $4100 too much for.
