Problems with MyMacca's App

I tried logging on just now, and if I use my existing account, I get an error message that the app is having problems.

Deleting and redownloading the app does not help.

Created a new account, and I can't activate it as after I click the link in the activation email it says that the activation code doesn't match.

Tried "logging in with Google" and it says, you already have an account on this device. I would love to delete all my accounts but I don't see how I can do that without logging in. Again tried deleting the app and reinstalling and it didn't help.

I have seen loads of people complain about the app being buggy in general over the years but I never had any major issues that stopped me from using it, until now.

Has anyone else had the same problems and how do you fix it?

    Mine has this weird bug where if I swap accounts, the deals and points don’t update and it shows the signed out account’s info
    Just checked now, still got that bug but can sign in.

      Forgot to mention I am in ios too in case it makes a difference. I haven't eaten Maccas in about a year. I just wanted coffee as the cafes are closed 😛
      Also, I tried logging in with my second account. I can't remember what the error message was but something about my device. I just got an email giving my a link to verify the device. After clicking it, and trying to log in, it looks like it is loading for a second but just stays on the Sign In page and does nothing.
      Edit: after cancelling out of that page it looks like I am actually signed in! Looks like the coffee card is not in the app anymore? I was sure I had a free coffee waiting ☹️

        Your second account? I hope you do not only have 2. I thought it was standard practice for an Ozbargainer to have atleast 5 - increases the chances of the coveted 25% off code..

          I think I made about 4 but don't remember what email addresses I used except for 2 of them

    I had log in issues late last year. I contacted McDonalds (a pain in the rear) but I did get a response. It took a few weeks but they eventually contacted me to tell me the issue was solved. To date, I haven't had any issues.

      • I wrote this nearly 2 years ago! My memory isn't that good. 😁
        I think it was via the app, but things could have changed since then.
