I have purchased an item on ebay, the tracking has appeared almost instantly. But it is now stuck in "shipment info recieved" for the last 7 days.
The seller says that it is a common problem where the tracking simply does not update. But I have purchased other item on Amazon at the same time, which was also sent by Speedpak, and there are regular and timely status updates.
It is possible that the item physically left the seller but the tracking just does not update?
If no updates for 7 days it is likely not even shipped yet
So, if the seller has not sent the item yet (big seller). What's the best strategy to make him do it fast? I do not remember a case when it happenned to me on ebay when the seller has not sent the item. He offerred to refund already (which does not add up with the fact that he claims that he posted the item), but I want the item, don't want the refund.

It is now routine for Ebay sellers to lie about product locations, stick an estimated delivery date 2 weeks in the future, and drop ship from China.
Nothing you can do except be careful in future to select sellers who can deliver in a few days.
Thanks, do you think it is more likely that eventually the item will reach me? Just as I said before, can not remeber the case when the parcel was lost and never came. It is fine as long as eventually it will reach me. Just don't want a situation where I wait for 1 and a half month and then realise I need to order again.

I am simply asking someone if he experienced sales on ebay where the seller did not send an item because I have not, which is just my personal experience. Don't understand what you are so angry about. Do you normally talk to people like that offline as well?

When is thievery date due from the ebay listing? If it is drop shipped, it is likely to arrive by then. If the due date has already expired, who knows?
Getting tracking numbers assigned to your order doesn't mean the item has been physically packed, or shipped. This first part is usually automated so it's not an indication that your order has moved along.
