I watched it last week! It was great with 50% off on 4DX

      You watched what?

  • +1

Works with the daybeds too but having tried it I would not recommend them in the slightest. Way too close to the screen and makes the top of the screen look all stretched out :/. But if it's your thing then enjoy

  • Avatar 2 worth it in 4dx?

    • +2

It was my first 4dx experience and I found it incredible. The 4dx parts were a huge part of the enjoyment for me. It felt like a Universal Studios ride.

I watched it in 3D and I must say, it's much better than Avatar 1 in 3D. The higher frame rate helps significantly.

  • Go Avatar 2, just about to hit top 10 box office! Seen it four times now, I want to watch in 4DX but sessions are still really full and inconvenient, which is crazy as it’s fourth week now!

  • If I want to see a film in 4DX Tuesday is the day!

Anyone aware of any other deals for 4DX?

Cinebuzz adult tickets at Birch Carroll and Coyle (Event) Capalaba Queensland are $9, anytime, any session - great cinema, bargain :)

    • Silly question: if I get this voucher, would it come down to $4.50?

      • yes silly question…as it is stated boldly above - "Not valid at Browns Plains, Capalaba, Glendale, Morayfield, Strathpine, Toombul and Skyline Drive In Blacktown."

Yet ANOTHER music bioptic….. 6.9/10 btw

The Banshees of Inisherin is good.

      • I saw it, wasn’t anywhere near his other films. Had a few moments but I think some people will walk out of boredom.

        • Sorry you didn't enjoy it. I found it timeless, it reminded me of Beckett. Have you seen any of (M) McDonagh's plays? Hysterical and utterly grim all at once.

          • @Meconium: I haven’t. I love his work. 7 psych, In Bruges, even Six Shooter

            • @UberIsCool: The Beauty Queen of Leenane is the funniest play I've ever seen. Six Shooter is cool eh

    • Have you seen Avatar 2 yet?

  • Thanks, perfect excuse to visit full-priced cinemas. Especially in 3D with high refresh rate! Pretty sad that $11 per adult + $1.50 booking fee per ticket is a good deal (don't even bother with the candy bar!)

    • I agree that the $1.50 booking fee is a bit of a rip off (you can still get the tickets for $11 in person) but surely $11 ticket are still a good deal? Movies have to make money somehow.

  • None in VIC?
