Hi all, I need some help with finding a smart watch that I can wear while surfing that has LTE. I lock my phone in the car when I go for a surf and would like to still be contactable Ideally it would also allow me to make NFC payments for that post surf coffee :)
I'd happily get an apple watch SE but I've on Android and I have seen lots of negative comments regarding galaxy watch 4 battery life.
Any recommendations would be most appreciated
Why not get an iPhone so you can happily get Apple Watch?

Technically none of the LTE watches, except apple watch ultra, are stutable for high velocity water activities (eg surfing). I had Samsung watch wich broke twice (warranty repair) so I returned it eventually. If you can tolerate iOS (I cannot) you should be able to use apple watch.
Apple showed that girl surfing with the Apple Watch in the keynote. I guess she was surfing in the nearby San Fransisco Bay.
I think she was paddle boarding.
How do these watches hold up with salt water though?

Not emergencies but generally contactable. It'd be nice to be able to leave the house without a phone and still be reachable (have small kids)

Anyone else have any updated recommendations?
Samsung watch 5 pro LTE version, battery is good, last me 3 days without recharge but again it can be varied from usage
