Instant Payments No Longer with New Ubank App

Has anyone else found that transfers into UBank are no longer instant since they changed their systems recently?

I can transfer out using the UBank app, and it appears to be instant.

If I transfer in from another bank, it does not happen instantly, and have to wait until next day.

    I just transferred less than $5 from Citibank to new UBank to answer your question and it transferred instantly. What bank isn't transferring instantly?

        Have you by any chance used up the $1K/day Osko limit of ING before the transfer to ubank? Or is your transaction >1K?
        If yes, then ING will use the standard (slow) transfer.

    Never been on the old system (opened 86400 account). Both in and out transfers are instant for me.
    Tested with ING, UP and NAB.

    I’m guessing it’s an issue from the sending bank, not ubank. How are you transferring it? Via OSKO or another method?

    I had the same thing happened to me. I had to upload bank statements for my mortgage broker and it won't work now.

    Maybe try adding a PayID to the receiving account and then using that instead. Since there's no fallback option from Osko to EFT (unlike BSB & account numbers) then that might force the sending bank to use Osko.

    If this is still slow then I'd be complaining to Ubank, but generally it's the sending account that determines routing and thus speed.

    I've got my email address and my mobile number on two different bank's accounts as PayIDs and I think there's other values you can use as well.

      This. I added PayID to my ubank account and can now receive transfer instantly.

    If you've been having issues the past 24 hr only, maybe related to the NAB issues that were being experienced on Friday?

    ANZ and Commbank was instant for me this week. I think 1 or 2 weeks ago there was an issue with Ubank and my transfers were taking over a day.
