As we know, Harvey norman isn't one of the participating retailers with the ultimate group or even the TCN group so it's very hard to get discounts. I'm looking for a substantial gift card discount of 5-10%.
Harvey norman is the only retailer stocking the items I need. All the others are empty. The biggest discount I could find was 2%, which is pretty negligible. Hoping some others may have some better ideas. For reference, I'm purchasing Apple products.

The item is already 15% off (I'm price matching) there's no way in hell they will go lower than that on an Apple product. But thanks anyway
Both HCF Thank You and Redeem Your Gift Card offer 4% discount on HN gift cards, minus the processing fee (HCF 1% or RYGC $2.50 per card). It used to be 7% but the discount has reduced over the last year.

RYGC updated their platform a while ago to now accept Visa and Mastercard payments. They say that if you pay via Visa and Mastercard, you'll have the gift cards instantly sent to you. Keep in mind there is a 1% Visa/Mastercard fee on top of the $1 gift card fee.
If you pay via the old-fashioned way on RYGC (i.e. bank transfer / OSKO), that is a more manual process at RYGC, and you will need to wait for the cards to be sent to you. That is where a lot of people got stuck with RYGC, as they sometimes had to chase up with RYGC for them to actually reconcile their order with their bank transfer and then have the gift cards sent to them.
I have not tried RYGC recently, but I used them once back when they only accepted bank transfer / OSKO, and it only took a few hours for the gift card to be sent to me.
I did notice that, which is great. The 1% does kill their ability to compete though. As you know, I'm pretty time sensitive with my purchases (limited stock, deals expiring etc) so the bank transfer is pretty risky if it gets held up for a few days. Will keep RYGC under consideration. Thanks!
Depending on the product have you tried going in and asking for the 5-10% discount on the product from the sales staff? that sometimes works
