Depends on use case.
Have this drive in my PS4 Pro, works fantastic. Much better than the BX500 in there before. DRAM makes a world of difference.
However, the Crucial MX500 is only a few dollars more and available locally so it doesn't make much sense to get it at this price
If you expect to copy larger files, it's very slow, the speed drops to below HDD. MX500 for a few more $ would be a much better purchase.
Second that.
TLC > QLC
According to this review, you can expect ~20% better performance from the MX500.

An important test from the same review to be aware of: https://www.techpowerup.com/review/samsung-870-qvo-1-tb/6.ht…
A sequential write directly from another SSD of over 42GB isn't something most users are going to experience often, it's a none issue for something like a Steam drive where the content will be coming from the internet.
Right, but it's still a limitation worth being aware of when deciding to buy the SSD drive.
It's very slow in this case, below 100MB/s, about 2x slower compared to reading from HDD.
be careful with dramless drives.
This does have DRAM.
whoever buys qlc drives, lol.
