Do you need to put AUD in the citibank card and withdraw in euro? can that work?
Yup, citibank debit card got in Aust so just transferred as per normal bank transfer, then atm over there in their local currency. Credit card will probably be easier so you don't need to worry about atm fees and such, just pay it off right after you use it if you're scared of fees
Yes Citi debit is the way to go.
Citi will charge you no fees.
The local ATM might charge you a small one but they can also be avoided by using the right oneCheckout the entry for Turkey here, https://whirlpool.net.au/wiki/citibank_plus_transaction_acco…
Though it's pre covid
Same! Heading a month after you! Do message and let me know if you have any recommendations haha! Would really appreciate it cheers

I've found that Citibank debit card (withdraw at atm) or 28degrees credit card gave very close to the Google rates, not the buy sell one but the 'convert 50aud to eur' results. Either put in the money and withdraw at atm (not sure on Turkey atm fees) or pay it off on the credit card.
