Make sure your car has fire protection included in insurance. See first comment

      • I dont normally use car charger because phone is connected to Airplay, this will be a holder 99% of the time

Way too many comments talking about the heat, not sure I’d take a chance in this

    • Exactly. Heat kills batteries so don't use this if you want your battery to last more than 12 months.

  • Only apple and belkin can wirelessly charge iphones at 15W, and only certain products from the latter.

      There's two types of Magsafe

      1. Made for MagSafe - Apple certified and contains single-wire NFC antenna and can do up to 15W Charging
      2. MagSafe Compatible - Basically just magnets arranged in a circle. Charging max out at 7.5w.

More information about 'MagSafe compatible' vs. 'Made for MagSafe' can be found here

      • True, but reality is they both charge slow, second one takes wopping 3 hour and 15 minutes to fully charge, the genuine Magsafe one only 30 mins quicker.

find it a bit rich for someone who's been a member of ozbargain for almost 2 years but hasn't posted a single deal to complain about the type of deals being posted.

besides, you could easily hide all deals from any particular store.

  • Bought the Anker 7.5w charger for 7.99, hopefully good to charge my S22

    • You have link?

      • Here. It's at the bottom of the deal description.

  • Looks like we've found the cause of global warming! Maybe we should send some of these to the States to help melt some of the snow?

IMO, not all Kogan stuff is crap. You just have to be careful. I've got a fair few of their SmarterHome products (lights, mostly) and they've been in for a few years without any hassles. Any problems I've had have been rectified, either by replacing or refunding, so they're not the worst in the world. I've had more problems with Ebay…
