Yes, fair point. My Move has the assistance and it doesn’t work on bluetooth, only on wifi at home so keep that in mind.
No automatic trueplay with no mic as well. Though I doubt it has much impact on such a portable, small speaker.
Picked up one of these at RRP a few months ago and believe it was worth it. Lives on a wireless charger in my bathroom. Waterproof for the shower. Integrates with existing Sonos perfectly. Grab it when I need it outside or for camping etc. Only gripe is that sometimes it has no charge even though it’s on the charger. Not sure if it’s user error or the 3rd party wireless charger. (No way I’m $80 for the official qi charger)
Anyone know if you can connect a Bluetooth record player to the Roam and have the sound come out of all the Sonos speakers in the room? I have an arc and sub that I'd like to play records through…

Yes It can, I do that with a Sony Bluetooth record player. :)
How does this sound in comparison to the Sonos 1?
Smaller, so physics dictates it won’t sound nearly as good!
Not as good as of course, but still capable and also portable.
I walked into Harvey Norman around 4-5 days ago, Sonos roam was featured at 99$. I got 3 for 297$. Dont know if the price is still up or was that a one day special, unsure.

It was at QV centre at Melbourne CBD. I just walked past and it was at 299 again. Maybe it was some christmas promotion? I got no clue, didnt ask.

@JackFrost: Couldnt or shouldnt had been, cause the staff at the shop at that day we’re promoting it and offering the deal to everyone. Even they themselves couldnt believe that it was only 99$ a pop for one of the Sonos Roam speakers. I just happened to walk past when I went to buy Sonos One SL speakers for my Sonos set.
Edit: It was just marked in blue, saying FEATURED and then this insanely low price tag.
As I’m not in the Sonos ecosystem I went with the Jbl charge 5 as the battery lasts over 10 hours.
Just note this is the Roam SL - no mic, no assistant.
