Woolworths - Huggies Jumbo Nappies $30 (Save $3) + 14 Cents/Ltr off Fuel Docket - 13/07 to 15/07

480

This is a Woolworths late week special. Pretty good considering you get a 14 cent/ltr fuel discount voucher. Ends this Sunday. Don't know which state but I assume its nation wide as the terms and conditions doesn't mention anything and has special instructions for customers in Tasmania.

    thx OP

Please note that earlier in the year Huggies sold bonus packs which were 99 nappies for crawler. Now there are only 90 in a pack. So effectively the $3 saving is wiped out by the smaller pack.

    • +3

That is correct. Its not just the crawlers, all jumbo boxes have had a reduction of 10%…

Also be warned that the quality of Huggies nappies has gone down! They are now thinner, which makes leaks happen more ofter. I know that because it happens with my child, plus there are a number of complaints on the Huggies Facebook page.!

We got a few free samples of Babylove nappies and I was very impressed. Way thicker the huggies and a normal crawler box contained 93 for $29. So in general, you save $6 on the normal price of Huggies.

Big thanks, Coles /fly buys offered me $90 purchase to get 14c petrol voucher. But woollies are way better!!!

    • +2

      Only $90?? I got a fly-buys email yesterday but it was spend $160 for 10c, $170 for 12c and $180 for 14c!

      • That's awkward - I have received a flybuys email yesterday too
Need to spend $60/$70 or $80 to get 10c/12c or 14c fuel discount respectively

        • +1

My email said 8c for $40, 10c for $50 and 12c for $60. Everyone gets something a little different it seems…

          12c off LPG = 20% off

        • I believe the offers are 'targeted' marketing - we all get different offers.

        • I got the same one as Bappy for coles,
I have one from woolies @ $50 for 10c as well

        • +2

Wow - sneaky buggers. The offer is probably trying to get you to spend a little bit more than usual. E.g. why offer me a deal at $50 if I spend well over that every time I shop (2 adults 4 boys!).

  • Also on their Baby club https://woolworthsbabyandtoddlerclub.com.au/offers/ not sure if you have to be a member though?

Just buy the nappies, get the fuel voucher, then return them. You can still keep your original receipt.

    • Hehe. Brilliant idea.

    • +9

      What, return the kids? :)

      • U just made my day. :)

      • Gotta find the rightful owners among Woolworths employees :)

        • +1

Is this how you get your discounts?

      • +3

But they have got to be in their original packing…..

  • +3

Tempting but I think I'll keep using the toilet instead.

  • +1

Boo… Don't buy these from woolies. Buy them from your local pharmacy. Support small business rather than this duopoly that wants to wipe everyone else out.

    • +1

      Pun indented?

      • ;)

    • Duopoly? Do you not have an IGA, Aldi, CostCo, Franklins or 7-11 near you? Who else did I miss….

      • +1

Coles and Woolies control 80% of the market. Hence, Duopoly.

  • Man just got aldi nappies in the other deal now this shows up haha so I got a box from this too thanks op

  • Actually woolies randwick had the jumbo boxes for 29 dollars, not sure for how long

  • Before you buy Huggies, Read all the complaints from angry customers about their new nappies. https://www.facebook.com/HuggiesAU

    • Interesting. Thanks for that. Given that I've bought $180 worth of huggies recently (in preparation for bub) this is a worry. 2 of my 6 boxes are Made in USA (the ones the complaints are about) which is a worry, but they're "Walker" ones, and I think the complaints are about the 'green' newborn ones, but not certain…

      • We managed to get our hands on 10 jumbo (x99) boxes before they reduced the amount per box (10% less). But once those boxes run out, we are going to move to the new Babylove Driwave nappies instead. We managed to get a few sampled from Babylove and found them to be way thicker, softer, absorbent then Huggies.

Right now Toyrus have them on sale for $22.99 http://www.toysrus.com.au/babylove-driwave-jumbo-nappies-inf… . I know it says infant, but usually when one stage of jumbo boxes is on sale all stages are on sale.

So $30 for 90 Huggies nappies that are thinner & leak easy or $22.99 for 93 Babylove nappies that are thicker & don't leak… You decide :)

  • Ive just been over to the Huggies Facebook page and it doesnt make for good reading :( Just check your pack before you purchase as apparently the ones made in the USA are an inferior product. I just checked the pack I bought last week in Coles and it is made in USA. Now Im too scared to use them! It seems there have been supply issues (probably as a result of the My Five Coles campaign Im guessing).

    • coles has nothing to do with it. It started when they started to downsize the jumbo boxes and at the same time reducing the quality.
