Use paper towels.
Could say the same about everything and all food goes down the toilet, may as well eat bread and drink water and furnish your house with hard rubbish, all going to end up in the trash eventually one day.
I used to think the same but this brush pan set is seriously worth it. Or at least get a pan that has a good silicone lip like this one so it can pickup all the fine dust and small crumbs.

This doesn't even have a handle on the pan so would be quite the pain to use. Kmart one would be better or pay more for the $18 oxo one

It's not compact, but it's great for saving your back - I use mine to sweep up dead cockroaches lol
I wonder about this "save your back" statement that is often made. Is it really saving your back making less work for yourself? Why not just save your whole body and do nothing all day? Surely we have realised that people aren't moving enough, rather than the other way around

Genuine q- why is this getting so many upvotes? It's small as, barely would pick up much?
Quality is solid - build and bristle density. Smaller size makes it better for kitchen benches, desktops.
People with big hands are confused, people with kids or with tiny spaces like tents or camping vans see a deal.

I find there's a bit of a technique in getting the brush back into the pan without bending some of the bristles. Good product though.
Way too small though be more useful in the car and… hang-on-a-minute, where's the effen handle?

I have one for my car and bought another for my wife's car. Its small enough that you can leave it in the door pockets. Great for dusting off sand after the beach and cleaning up after kids mess up the car.
I had a $1 kmart one but it had to sit in the boot which was a bit harder to get to. Also it cracked. This oxo one won't crack easily
I use the scooper part to scoop up my indoor dog's vomit. Then run it through dishwasher after rinsing. No longer need to use old towels that end up taking over the sink in my laundry for this purpose lol.
