Good price for this microphone in the current market from a legitimate retailer. Im VERY dubious of the cheaper prices on ebay etc, a lot of fakes on the market.

The Shure sm57 is also on sale for the same price. They're pretty much the same mic but the SM58 is more for vocals and the SM57 is more for instruments

These are crazy indestructible for a microphone. I have money rolling around in a trolley. It gets dropped, thumped and TAP! TAP! Is this thing on by idiots using it at events. Mines been rolling around for a decade in my car. Works great every time. While you can get better studio mics at crazy prices, this thing is decent and idiot proof.
