Yeah I'd say this brand is good for people who like simple and affordable pieces of jewellery in 14k gold.
The gems aren't very high quality, which is ok considering the pricing.

I wouldn't say so, by looking at it and the reason why it was towards the bottom of my list, bycharlotte has a 14k gold earrings sleeper (Huggie I think) with cubic zirconias for $270 a pair - 1mm thick and 7mm diameter (Less gold weight).
Mejuri (Which was one of the top of my list), gold huggie 1.2mm thick and 12mm diameter. With real (albeit low quality) diamonds [I think] go for $375 a pair. If you are spending 270, I would spend that little bit more for a better overall.
Anyways :D it was just research I was doing for the christmas pressie.
You're totally right regarding full price items - I wouldn't pay $270 for a pair of cubic zirconia from By Charlotte either, I've only bought their earrings on sale at huge discounts.
Mejuri as you mentioned, and Her Banana are both also great for solid gold pieces - definitely doesn't hurt to shop around :)
Purchased a rose gold ring from this company, within a few months the "rose gold" had begun rubbing off to reveal a dark/black metal underneath.
Company support offered no exchange or refund
Given their pricepoint, I never expected a premium product but I did expect the product to last longer than a couple of months. Be warned.

Ye, you need to go for those solid gold items, don't go for those Vermeil/Gold plated.
Did a bit of searching as I bought the wife some gold earrings. Came across this brand, was prob on the lower end of the table in terms of choice. I ended up purchasing from Ankara brand as the pricing was good.
