Business Laptop - Budget $1400-$1800

Got a $400 JB Gift card for Christmas. Would like to take advantage of the $100 cash back through zip at JB when spending above $1000. So, guessing I need to spend $1400 to get the most value for money.

I already have a new gaming computer (3080, 13th gen i5, 32gb ddr5 5600mhz ram etc).

I am just looking for a laptop to use for word processing for work, so will be nice to sit in bed working, on the couch etc (I work from home).

Nice to haves:
15” min.
Great keyboard
Windows (but I don’t mind, I only use Microsoft suite, outlook and Salesforce (so google chrome or edge)

Don’t care much for touchscreens, never really use it.

Which would be best value out of these?

    Good suggestion.

    I had the 11th gen 17” xps, top spec and got a full refund a few months ago and got my gaming computer instead. Was having major issues with it running games.

    Apart from that it was great for work.

    Just not sure if 13 is too small.

  Last 5 years have been working on Thinkpads X1 only. Best workhorses IMO.

      Changed my mind, think the form factor might be useful and it seems great value the laptop, even without factoring in the 2 in 1.
      Unless you have another suggestion?

      Couldn’t really see one I wanted that was:
      15 inches plus
      Great keyboard
      Great value

      Less than $1800.

      Ideally I would grab the surface 5, but it’s $1000 more than the Dell.

  The last time I looked (a while ago) business laptops had matt anti-glare screens and non-business ones had dreadful shiny screens. I don't know if this has changed recently.

  You probably don't want the AIO (all in one) machines - harder to use in bed.

  I have not had any luck with Dell's - they seem to die prematurely - just after the warranty has expired.

  OTOH, I have had good experiences with Lenovo - both the T series and the X series.
