Hello & thanks in advance,
Looking for a laptop for under ~2500.
About Me
- I do some simple video and photo editing so I believe a dedicated graphics card may be better.
- I do a lot of work with spreadsheets so speed/power on these is important.
- Battery life is no imperative but getting ~5-8 hours off a charge would be good.
- 14" or 15" screen. Build quality and size are important - ideally something thinner than a gaming laptop.
- So far I've been interested in the Lenovo X1 line, but the deals for these don't seem to be great at the moment.
- I've also been interested in the Surface range, potentially the surface laptop studio.
- Touch screen is not overly important, I would potentially use the studio for note-taking, but I don't have a touch screen currently.
- Something I could dock easily when WFH and connect to two monitors would be ideal.
Please let me know what you think is the best value currently. Hoping to purchase prior to February, so any current deals or any regularly on-sale items would be appreciated.
Macbook M1 Pro will hit a lot of the points.
