Found the vac and the station listed for the lowest price from 2 different sellers and purchased separately using code SNSDEC.

Two different sellers, the dock is by Mobilities - authorised reseller.

They are not an authorised reseller of Australian stock (making it grey import) - here is correspondence from Roborock.
They also lie about using express postage (and use Parcel Post instead) - MS Paint "diagram".
eBay supported my return claim for "not as described" (for whatever that's worth).

Yes they are region locked. That's why I'm curious how this seller got around those locks. The VPN trick will ban the vacuum indefinitely
afaik from what i read Roborock Australia practically forced Roborock China to Region Lock "Australia" out of International.
tbh wouldnt surprise me if Roborock Australia was owned by Harvey Norman group cause this is there kind of sales tactic.
@JPNx: Yeah, which is why I'm curious how these ebay sellers have bypassed that restriction. You used to be able to connect to a VPN and make it work. They patched that, so next step was connecting to a chinese router which did work however they caught on to that and bricked all those devices.

Yup. You have to manually press the button on the robot and no access to the app according to roborock oz
In the prior deal for this from this seller someone mentioned they purchased it and it worked fine with the app. Would that suggest they are the Australian version?

I did some looking to buy in Singapore and cheapest was around $1600-1700aud for both.
I think think there are 3 versions, China, Europe and international. Only China receives China version, other Asian countries get INT version.

I bought it, got extra discounts cause of eBay Plus and the total came to $2,144.49. Cheapest I've seen the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra pack and I get an extra charging dock with it cause I got them separately I guess.
I've been looking at these too. I don't think this is the same. The dock in some models has a pad cleaner/warmer, I don't think this combination does.
The Dock has a mop pad cleaner but not a warmer/dryer, I think you are thinking of the Dock Dryer Module addon for that. I don't think it comes in a Ultra dock pack but some deals have bundled it in with the S7+ MaxV Ultra. Can purchase it separately for $249 direct from Roborock website.
