I'm relocating to Byron Bay from Melbourne and have an easily stressed cat. Have heard some stories of pets being cooked or frozen to death on freight services. Anyone know of an affordable and safe service that allows us to stay with pet until departure?

I hired these guys to move my doggo, a few months ago. Reasonable price, smooth process, doggo was moved overnight from Melbourne to Sydney, arrived happy.
Communication and tracking were really good.
PS: Sorry, after posting I saw they seem to move dogs only. Therefore, my reply is useless for OP. Maybe someone else would be interested in dog transport in the future.
Any reason why you cant drive it with a transport cage?
Can you drive it instead? If possible I'd suggest this as it's the safest option that will give you peace of mind. Otherwise look at reviews from other pet owners and try not to fly on a hot day.
