WTF?? Have people not got boxes of these things laying around at home? I still have another 60 tests at home, and 4 cartons of them at work.
That's a cool story, but if you're after an achievement badge, instead of hoarding, start giving them away before they expire.
Shipping to 3000 is $9.99, so it's rather $3.60/test unless you invest in 40-50 tests, which would be incredible value according to that website.
