[3DS] NIS America RPG Sale (60-90% off Selected Titles) @ Nintendo eShop

220

A selection of RPGs published by NIA America are currently on sale on the 3DS eShop. These include fan favourite titles that were developed by and/or published by Atlus in the Japanese and North American regions. There's a good chance this will be the final time these games are on sale before the 3DS eShop closes for good on 27th March 2023, so if any of these games have been on your shopping list, make sure to pick them up now.

While it is no longer possible to use a credit card or Nintendo eShop code card on the 3DS eShop itself, if you link the Nintendo Network ID used on your 3DS to the Nintendo account on your Nintendo Switch, you can still add funds to your wallet via the Nintendo Switch eShop, with the merged wallet balance shared across 3DS, Wii U, and Switch systems. For those who don't have any money left in their 3DS eShop accounts, this is now the only way to make paid purchases on those systems.

Culdcept Revolt - $5.99 (Normally $59.95 - 90% off)
Etrian Odyssey IV: Legends of the Titan - $5.20 (Normally $13.00 - 60% off)
Etrian Odyssey Untold: The Millenium Girl - $5.20 (Normally $13.00 - 60% off)
Etrian Odyssey 2 Untold: - $5.99 (Normally $59.95 - 90% off)
Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth - $5.20 (Normally $26.00 - 80% off)
RPG Maker Fes - $5.99 (Normally $59.95 - 90% off)
Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner: Soul Hackers - $5.20 (Normally $13.00 - 60% off) - (Soul Hackers 2 was released worldwide in August 2022 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.)
Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor 2: Record Breaker - $5.99 (Normally $59.95 - 90% off)
Stella Glow - $5.99 (Normally $59.95 - 90% off)

With the exception of RPG Maker Fes, which was available for $4.49 back in September, all of these games appear to be at (equal to) their all-time lowest prices.

this is sad as it might be one of the last sales for the beloved 3ds eshop

    • I refuse to believe that the store and server actually cost anything tangible to upkeep. If the cost is something they care about, the storage server will be gone soon as well, and we wouldn't be able to download games we've bought already.

      • So we won’t be able to re download already purchase games?

        • Currently, you can.

I'm stipulating on the cost of upkeeping the store front being so minimal that they shouldn't remove it.

          • @Wonderfool:

and we wouldn't be able to download games we've bought already.

            late March 2023

After the March 2023 shutdown, “and for the foreseeable future,” Nintendo says it will still be possible to redownload games and DLC, receive software updates, and play games online on Wii U and 3DS.

@UsernameChecksIn: Sorry, lemme clarify my comments, it's obviously been confusing to everyone, and can't edit my old ones.

Nintendo haven't announced that they'll remove the ability to redownload games you've already bought.

My comment is that the since Nintendo storefront is so barebone, the storage servers are most of the cost. If cost is the reason why they're removing the store, then I would guess the storage won't last long aswell.

              • @Wonderfool: Yeah, totally agree, hard to imagine that they'd not make enough money from running a very basic online store that they'd have to shut it down.

Or could it be their way of encouraging 3DS owners who haven't made the switch to Switch to switch?

There must be a biz decision behind it.
                Sigh.
                Regrettable.

          • @Wonderfool: Ahh ok got ya

  • Aw come on, SMT IV!!!

    • Also, come on Persona Q2!
