Tablet Recommendations - Budget $300

My Tab Samsung S3 9.7" has had the screen break which costs more than the unit is worth.

I was looking at something second hand on Facebook Marketplace/Gumtree mainly Samsung Tab S3-S6. Seems prices are very inflated on FB/Gumtree. Any Suggestions on a replacement?

I had my tablet rooted with Cyanogen mod which was great without the Samsung Bloat. The older Samsung A series do my head in as I don't like the cheap non AMOLED screens and they lack speed. I am not really keen on a new Officeworks Samsung A8. My daughters A series is a joke of a thing which is 18 months old.

I just read the news apps, recipes and general browse and you use it for white music overnight for the kids.

Budget around $300ish. I paid $200 for the Samsung Tab S3 9.7" maybe 2 years ago and can't find any. I'd be happy with a Xiaomi Redmi or anything from Aliexpress if anyone compare? Prefer USB-c and Budget around $300~ max.

  The Redmi Pad seems like a good alternative to the Samsung Tab A series and the Mediatek Helio G99 CPU will perform better than the Lenovo Tab M10 Plus 3rd gen or the UNISOC Tiger T618 on the Galaxy Tab 10.1

    I'll wait for a Redmi deal I think, thanks. For under $300 BNIB seems the way to go!

    I have a tab A6 for one the kids and it is sluggish as can be. Feel like my old S3 was faster. CPU a6 vs a8 is only 10% at best.
