Gift for Uncle- Wood Work / Painting

Hi all.

My uncle I think is bit depressed and was looking for a Christmas gift. He enjoys woodwork and painting normally.

Any suggestions? Particular any courses etc

If you are in NSW, TAFE have just released 300 free courses. Maybe something there that piques his interest to sign up for.

have a look at handmade wooden star sign box. I got one that looks like a scorpion, with a tricky opening set-up..very cool

You could get him a nice piece of wood. One of those ones with the raw tree edge. Im sure he could find something to do with it.
Or a book of tricks and tips?

I enjoy doing woodwork, too. I’m not good at it, but I enjoy it.
