Scale 150% seems to look better than 2k monitor.
i've got a Dell 27" 4K and i run it at 150%
It honestly doesn't. Scaling upwards makes images lose their crispness.
For me, native 1080p looks much nicer than 4K@150% scaling. I learned this from experience after buying a 27" Lenovo ThinkVision X1 4K Monitor back in 2017.
Thanks for sharing
Never heard of this brand before, anyone got an experience with them?
The dead pixel policies are crap, use samsung panels for most of their wares anyway (and their own backlighting) - seem to by reasonably good for the price and are well known in Singapore. They are ALWAYS claiming to be on sale, not even sure if that is legal if they have never sold at the "full price".
My only hesitation would be it could be hard to return. I had three brand new screens from AOC and Samsung this year which all had faults, and were easy to return to a store, I would not be so confident at mail order companies warranty handling.i.e. the "normal price" for this monitor directly from them is $369, and has never sold for $599 - https://prismplus.com.au/collections/monitors
Thanks for the comment, I'll just wait over the next week and hopefully a decent monitor deal pops up, missed the phillips 32 inch :(

this is illegal behavior by this company, they always show an RRP that is basically an estimate of what they're trying to convince you it is worth… but they never sell them at that price in the time I've been watching them.
from ACCC:
Price claims
Price is an important factor in consumer decision making. Businesses should take extra care not to make misleading statements about price. This may happen if products are:
offered 'free' but on closer examination 'conditions apply'
promoted at a ‘sale’ price which is not actually a temporary sale price, or
advertised or displayed at a particular price, but GST or other costs are not included in that price.
A business shouldn’t mislead customers about savings on products or services. For example, a business may advertise a sale by using statements such as 'WAS $275 NOW $149'. This implies the buyer will save the difference between the higher and lower price.
The advertised savings may be misleading or deceptive if the product or service:
has never been sold at the higher price, or
was sold in a limited amount at the higher price immediately before the saleTake a look at : https://www.centrecom.com.au/lg-32-ultragear-qhd-165hz-hdr10…

@DisasterArea: That's comparing a QHD with 4K.
Camel x3 said it sold for $599
11/12 to 22/12
Its on their own site for $369, which includes shipping, so the "sale" here is $369 down to $299.
I'm sure they're ok monitors, even good monitors, but as a largely unknown brand here they are generally cheaper so don't be fooled that you're getting a $599 monitor for $299, that's the false advertising part.
@DisasterArea: You're right. Never once they advertised the monitors at full price.
Used W280 Pro back then in Singapore and served me well for 3 years before sold it. Just be aware of their dead pixel count warranty.
Review here:
https://www.parkablogs.com/content/review-prism-w280-max-4k-…Colours are vibrant and look great out of the box. I measured 100% sRGB, 77% NTSC, 82% AdobeRGB and 86% P3 with my Spyder5Pro calibrator. PRISM+ claims 115% sRGB support but my colour calibrator is not able to measure beyond 100% sRGB.
Seems to be a great budget 4k monitor for productivity use.
Back to $599
Is 4k too high for 28"?
