Replace My CCTV Foscam NVR but Keep IP Cameras

I have a Foscam FN7108E PoE NVR with 5 IP cameras (4x FI9900E cameras and 1x FI9853EP camera). The cameras are apparently ONVIF compliant. The entire system is about 6 years old and has 2TB storage. Overall the NVR is not easy to use, the iPhone app is terrible, tech support was horrid and remote access is unreliable. I've had enough!

Can anyone recommend a good replacement NVR that will recognise the Foscam cameras?
The most important feature for me is the ability to access the NVR remotely via my iPhone.

    Can't speak for the compatibility of your cameras, but definitely worthwhile taking a look at Synology - for both their NAS features, and very strong NVR features within Surveillance Station

    Interesting! I use a Synology NAS at work, did not realise they had NVR capabilities. Presumably there's a PoE NAS and remote viewing via an iPhone app? Thanks!

    Try "HiLook" brand, I think they are a Hikvision sub brand, my friend installed one of these to my Hikvision cameras and it all works well …… he is in the business, and the remote function on my IPhone is good for 90% of the time. I expect it is somthing to do with phone signal strength!.
