Hi OzBargainers,

Looking to buy my MIL a laptop for work/personal tonight/tomorrow - needs to be something I can purchase instore (we're in SA) she needs it ASAP. Under $1200.

Something she can use for work that can keep up with multiple programs/screens running - computer based job. Big screen. Needs to be something I can purchase instore (we're in SA)

Her current work computer has these specs -

Dell
Windows 10
11th gen intel(R) Core i51135g7 @ 2.4GHZ 1.38GHZ

Also need to buy office365 as well

                @jv: You'd think clicking update to Windows 11 would be easier than buying a new laptop.
                Unless the storage is too full. That would also mean the laptop would be running terribly which might explain why OP thinks they need a new laptop

    go to a computer store (not your jb hifi or the good guys, actual computer store).

    look for business models (ThinkPad, Latitude, Elitebook)
