Nikon AF-S DX Nikkor 35mm f/1.8G Lens - $254.15 ($224.15 after Perks) + Delivery ($0 C&C/in-Store) @ JB Hi-Fi

130

Have been looking for a deal on this lens for quite a while. They used to be frequently offered in the low 200s if you're lucky, however prices have been stubbornly just below $300 for the past year.

Using the $30 off $250 spend at JB Hifi makes this a very reasonable $224.15!

  • Highly recommend this lens if you have a DX body Nikkon DSLR. I've had it for a few years - really versatile.

    • Agree, took some shots last night at a Christmas event using my old D3300 body, and the shots are fantastic. Extremely capable lens in very low light

  • Great lens. Currently using it on my mirrorless Z50 with FTZII adapter. No issues at all.

this works well on nikon FX bodies as well. I currently use mine on a d700, you get a little bit of edge vignetteing but it's not as bad as other DX lenses.

I got this for $335 back in June: https://www.harveynorman.com.au/nikon-portrait-50mm-sb-700-l…

$398 is still a good deal if you also want a flash that's going for about $400 itself

    Same price at Amazon: https://www.amazon.com.au/Nikon-Portrait-Australian-Speedlig…

      that's a 50mm

      • Shit, misread the title. The 50mm is still a great lens (I also have the 35mm) and the combo is a good deal

Selling for 228 AUD in Amazon

    • Good find, was closer to $300 last time I checked.

  • This is a FANTASTIC lens. I'd suggest looking at the Used/Second Hand market as they can probably be picked up for around $100 perhaps less.

But FANTASTIC LENS these things are easily worth the New Price and are usable (tolerably acceptable) on full frame camera's (significant vetting but usable).

  • I bought it for $265.77 in Oct 2011
