Ordering Bulk Tinned Fish. - Herring

Does anyone know of a supplier of bulk tinned fish? Specifically tinned herring, they usually set me back $2 a pop in woolies or $1.90 in Aldi.

Between one and two cans per day. Could do more if it was economically satisfactory.

  • Red herring ?

Have been looking through ali, the closest l can find require shipment of a 20ft container or 15000 units, which is excessive to my needs.

Order the 15k units - any that you don't get through fast enough just become Surströmming at worst.

        you did ask for bulk..

at 3 cans per day, that 13 years worth

So step it up to 13 cans a day - now only 3 years worth!

    Daily dose of mercury.

Herring is one of the safer tinned fish but anything consumed excessively can be harmful.

oh, is this one of those things where 'too much' of it turns out to be too much?

Yum! Must be a good supply of micro plastics (from the tin lining) and heavy metals (from the chinese fish supply) ;)

Most food comes packaged in plastic, unfortunately not much you can do about it. Woolies brand herring seems to be made in germany from wild caught fish

  • try those cheap and nasty <$1 sardines from coles seacrown (vietnam river.. yum yumm) or woolies essential (thai) or aldi's portview (thai)
inflation bites, they were 60cents per can , but now over 90c each

small fish mercury level is almost nothing so you can eat everyday
    contains omega 3
    high calcium
    good source of protein
    don't eat the shitty sauce/oil/saltwater
