I thought Iran is the (3rd?) biggest oil reserves on the planet? Surely they can sell their oil to USA to pay off the debt.

  Not being a cynic or conspiracy theorist or anything like that; but I would have to imagine that singular fact would have been a key motivator in this particular farce, er I mean lawsuit. ;)
