    Anyone used?

  • seems good for the price. anyone knows if the specs are good ?

Check out the yaber v6-8 projectors. They aren't short throw though but half the price or less for similar specs. They have fewer ports though, particularly the 1 hdmi port is annoying but for the price I can't complain.

        They don't have similar specs!
This projector's brightness is 800 ANSI lumens and Yaber V6's brightness is only about 250 ANSI lumens. I couldn't find Yaber V8 for sale in Australia but that's also just 450 ANSI lumens.

        • Oh my bad. It's the conversion that screwed me up. In their table, they have 15000 lumens which roughly converts to 700-800 ansi lumens. But they do list it as 450 ansi lumens.

  • I am looking to see some reviews on this one too, planning to go on holidays and thinking if this projector can fullfil the job.

I bought their release model which had higher specs with Leica lens and I think Dynaudio speakers in their crowdfunding launch. It was ok in a dark room but the resolution was disappointing. Gave it to my son who uses it in his bedroom (projecting from a chest of drawers onto the wall) at night in the dark. Sound and operating system were ok. Expected better from Dynaudio, but it wasn't expensive.

I have an O1 PRO in my hand now, which is an upgrade of this product. Actually all I need is ultra short throw so that it can be put on cabinet like a TV. The Leica lens is really good and the brightness is totally acceptable when thinking of it's an ultra short throw projector. even I am happy with my one, compared to this deal's attractive price, I still recommend this deal.

  • I get an error saying the code no longer works. Anyone else confirm?

    • Code expired it seems

    • it seems the code is working again now. just placed an order.

Whilst I haven't owned this projector I have owned the "Fengmi R1 Nano". One thing they both have in common is the DMD (Display Chip): 0.23" DMD

This is a fact that most novices don't know but that DMD chip does not do native 1080p, only 540p and using XPR magic to quadruple the pixels.

Let's just say that I found the picture to be subpar - I remember firing it up and thinking surely this can't be 1080p. I don't even think I have particularly good eyes. My Blitzwolf VP6 had better picture.

    • Good to know my vp6 still smashing it

  • Thanks. Copped one. Coupon worked fine, $700 all up.

  • The price is not that attractive and just 35 dollar cheaper when I compared with it in TW.

    • can you share the link?

Interesting how they made up a new Wifi Technology. 4ghz.
4k compatible resolution, doubt that it has the tech to do lens shift to mimic 4k. So pretty much this is a fake 1080p projector.

If it is using a 0.23" DMD, then it is probably using a Differing technique like lens shift to make it 1080p, so it actually isn't native 1080p. For this size of sensor, the true resolution is: 960x540

  • I read it as $30 but even then i wouldnt buy it

I’ve got one. It shows a wonderful quality and I would recommend it!
