This is its typical sale price, but just in time for the holiday season.. as the replay value in this game is quite high due to the alternate story timelines

Only in the sense that it is also a visual novel.
Story is more of a mysterious curse/events in a mysterious town. One of the better ones I've played. Around 15-16 hours for 100% completion from memory so not crazy long but not too short either.
If you like the anime Another you will like this.
Has been cheaper than $30 multiple times before and lowest at $6 so maybe worth waiting if you've got a back log already.
Would still recommend at $30 if you wanna play now though.Excellent details, thanks.
I’ve just started it and the production quality is really good..Any chance you’ve played the steins gate game for switch? (It also looks good, plus steins gate is amazing)
I've played the original S;G on PS3 and S;G Zero on PS4.
Both were absolutely amazing, honestly didn't think they could produce a sequel worthy of S;G but Zero was definitely on par, if not slightly better. The Switch unfortunately only has the Elite version which I haven't played (feel like I'd prefer the original) but I'll get around to it at some point.
Another really good one off the top of my head is Raging Loop if you want to add to your back log. Not perfect but story keeps you on the edge of your seat the whole time and has a really easy-to-grasp flowchart mechanic so you won't be wandering for hours not knowing how to progress.
@zonra: Also would recommend Chaos;Child and Robotics;Notes Double Pack as well from the Science Adventure series.
If you like anime style visual novels look at Aokana Four Rhythms. Pics and writing are all high quality. Between Reddit and Steam you’ll be hard pressed to find many negative opinions of this game
It has been cheaper, but not since June. This site is great for Switch price history and alerts:

Is it like Doki Doki Literature Club?
