Hi all, tonight I made an Ikea order but forgot to apply my $10 off birthday code. If I cancel the order, will I get a new gift card straight away?

Are $10 really worth that much effort? You can use the voucher with another order.

To get an order that paid with card refunded I thought the only way is to actually go to the refund dept and request it then they will issue you a new refund card. Note if you plan to use online, make sure the card they give you have a pin, if no pin it means you can only use in store. It will be hassle to do this, and if there is click and collect $5 fees, as they don't refund this. If I were you I won't bother, just use the $10 for next time.
Thanks all, I cancelled the order last night and found out through Ikea live chat just now that I'll get a refund card within 3-5 working days. I'm happy to wait for it and then get my $10 off. I won't be needing to buy anything else from Ikea for a while after this next purchase.
Hot damn thats a lot of effort for $10.
I guess I'm a true Ozbargainer, and it's just stuff for around the house that I can wait for.

Correct me if I am wrong but I think you can only use the refund card in-store not online.
