Bunnings Price Different on My Partners Phone to Mine. How Much Does This Item Say It Costs When You Click The Link?

Hi guys, just found something strange with an item at Bunnings and don't know what's going on.

My partner was shopping, and I told her to buy a Belkin surge protector… the nearest shop was JB. I looked online and found this protector was $49.95 in JB but was only $36.70 in Bunnings.

I sent her the link and she went into JB, showed them the link and bought the item.

However, I had a bank notification of $40.76 paid to JB. I asked my partner if they wouldn't price match it fully and she said they did…. she then sent me a screen shot of the item when she clicks the link and on her phone the item comes up at $40.76…. but when I click the link it comes up as $36.70.

Wondering if it is the same for others? And if anyone knows what's happening?

    just changed the store locations to a couple random ones (i think metro locations):

    Collingwood, VIC: $36.70
    Rozelle, NSW: $40.76
    Newstead, QLD: $40.76
    Homebase Subiaco, WA: $40.76

    looks like for some reason it's cheaper to get online or in Victoria than in store in other states.

    edit - I just checked Ballarat, VIC and it's $40.76 there too, so it seems store-dependent

    $36.70 in Fairfield, Vic but $40.76 in Coburg, Vic.

    Weird… i guess that makes sense as i have my store set to our local but my partner would just have it set to the default store in WA.

    I didn't even know store specific was a thing in bunnings… is it common knowledge? (I'm a pom)

      I think state specific pricing in bunnings is pretty common unfortunately. I got caught out on an aircon.

    Selected in Vic, Ballarat and then Delacombe and both $40.76
