  • A fun instant Camera/Printer with touch LCD, not to be the confused with the non-LCD cheaper ones with poorer quality camera sensor.
  • Can print from your Smartphone, images are saved on SD card.
  • ZINK photos are cheaper than Instax and have sticky back @<50cents each.
  • Yes, its a Niche novelty item, and the ZINK photo development technology doesn't have the same character as Instax.
  • However, the convenience and being able to select/edit the photo you want to print(save money) definitely develops interests when people sees it.
  • The camera/printer commonly becomes the focus of the party, no negatives were left.

I picked one up with Price Match at a Officeworks, saving the postage @170.99(save extra with gift card). This is to replace another ZINK printer which I had for couple of years.

  • What paper does it use and how much?

  • +1

Zink Paper 3x2 inch around $24 a pack of 50.

    • Is this the Canon from Amazon?

      Is it compatible?

Love the idea of these as a gift for kids; but the ozbargainer parent in me says “they’ll burn through the starter pack in no time - don’t force their parents to pay $50 for 50 prints

Hence, only choose to print the best ones. Imagine spending $1 per click on Instax films.
I stock up on these when they have 20% off. Works out to be $58 dollars for 150 prints.

      Cheers

      • Yeah, understand that the choice needs to be made for this to be cost viable…

But I'm referring to kids here. Every photo will be amazing and totally has to be printed - hence putting their parents on the hook for constantly buying photo paper kits

  • Didn't know how you got them to pricematch without postage, but they need to so with PM it's 192.44

  • Coming up as $218 for me.

Instax Mini camera is the same price from Kogan if anyone is interested.
I've always been tempted but my kids would waste the prints and would cost me a fortune. Thermal paper cameras are a tempting alternative at around $70-80. Uses receipt paper rolls for a cheap lofi experience
