Free delivery too it seems?
Instore its classed as 2 for $10. I bought 2 for me and the missus for camping, so it worked out good
one for facing forward and the other facing back. a baskerville zombie don't like bright lights….
Wear them side by side like eyes to freak out the kids camping in the distance.
yeah just need to buy 1 still get free delivery as I only have one head
I only have one head
Thought "lachlan" is a man name! lol…. :-)
wish the second head would fit the headbrace lol on second thoughts that would be too painful to contemplate
Please don't forget our Tasmanian brothers.
$5 for one with free delivery makes it a good deal. But Krypton bulb is your old fashion bulb that would be next to useless together with 3 small LEDs
7 LED for $10 a better deal?

I found it's still as bright as most of the others, they have on display so you can compare. For me $5 compared to $20+ was a deal
The catalogue has one with 4 white and 3 red LED's (red preserves night vision?) - 2 for $10:

Couldn't find that one instore, but noticed most of the red light units flash and aren't constant on

Oh…that's not gonna work ;)
Yes, red are flashing only. Bought 2 for $10 a month back.
There's a box you can tick for Carbon Offset at checkout. What does that do?
increases the price?
Cheers op, set on the way :)
Thanks! Starting to stock up for an overseas trek and needed a basic one of these! As per others, $5 vs $25 is a great deal, for me too!
Good deal but CREE ones are much brighter. (Especially when you forget you're wearing it and turn to look at someone!) - 3 LEDs just doesn't cut it for me.
Can you show a deal for CREE ones for $5?
A 10 second search on eBay came up with heaps: http://www.ebay.com.au/sch/i.html?rt=nc&LH_BIN=1&_nkw=cree%2…
Of the 50 which come up on my PC from that link, the most expensive is $5.77 delivered. This one uses a 5W CREE and takes 3xAAA: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/5W-CREE-LED-Zoom-Flashlight-Head-…
Does anyone know the lumen rating of these headlamps?
Lumen rated em as good to go
I bought a headlamp like this a while ago, minus the Krypton bulb.
Biggest problem was the strap - which is identical to this one. It was very uncomfortable to wear, wouldn't stay in place unless you kept your head still and eventually it broke after about 10 uses.
I'd say $5 is a 'fair' price.
If you want something to wear for long periods during physical activity you will want something better.
So you have technical specifications for this headlamp?
