Just noticed this challenge in the ShopBack app exclusive for Westpac customers. Must use your linked Westpac card as payment.
As there is no $75 gift card you are going to have to buy multiple gift cards until you have $80 worth. Reminder that Bunnings pays you cash if you don't use the whole gift card balance in a transaction (eg. If you spend $10 and use a $50 gift card to pay for the item, Bunnings will pay you $40 cash)
$30 for referrer, $20 for referee after referee qualifies (minimum $50 spend via ShopBack in 180 days and received at least one "Confirmed" cashback).
Qualifying requirements for referee: 1. Made a minimum $20 online purchase (below exclusions apply), 2. Received a minimum $10 confirmed cashback online, 3. Added banking details to account.

But it actually gives you better discount.
For instance you get 2.5% off a $10 bunnings egift card from Shopback.
That's a 25 cents discount.
You buy a $1 item.
You get $9 change in cash.
That's 25 cents off a $1 item = 25% discount.
I love it.
Im not sure its worth the effort to save 25% on a $1 item but sure haha.
yeah, it is so “smart”. I was shocked when I first time use gift card to pay at bunnings. I did get gift cards as changes. It was so annoy to use one $100 gift card and get back 2-3 small gift cards back.
Guess in the hope you might lose them. There got to be a reason that they do that method.
So you have to spend it at their shop and saves having to have a system to work out what's left on it
Can be difficult to redeem the egift card as it may not scan on phone, and instead staff tell you to print it out. It's not practical to print from the SB mobile app. So instead insist the staff enter it manually. But then you'll notice there are in fact two enormous sets of numbers so it takes quite a while. While I'd want the organised convenience of keeping the egift card in the app, this is negated by the change being issued as physical gift cards, which could easily be misplaced.
Not worth it for a $5 credit card specific hoop jump.
Was told by Bunnings staff have to print electronic egift card before they would accept it. But let me scan a photo barcode egift card as a once off.
I've only ever had my digital gift cards scanned from my phone. Never an issue.
Bunnings gift card system are crap. They need to change to something similar to Coles/Woolly where you just keep the same card until all the money are used up.

Well, there shouldn't be any remaining balance as you are either given cash or new gift cards.
The remaining balance will always be the amount on the gift card
They also take the original gift card from you.
Essentially you are spending $75 for $80 ($20x4) gift card, effectively 6.25% off plus troubling the bunning staff scanning 8 bar codes (2 for each gc).

Not true.
Bunnings will only pay you cash if the balance is under $10
So if you spend $9.90 and use a $50 gift card, you will get 10 cents in cash and a new $40 physical gift card.
It's the "smartest" gift card system in Aust.
