I got 4x the $50 ultimate card from shopback. Jumped thru all the hoops to register them. I got my visa #, cvc, exp.
On their site My Prepaid Centre says Google Wallet is supported. Press add, it says can't do it, diy manually.

Is this normal? I'm feeling these cards are very hard to use by design.
I wanted to put it on app so I can shop in store, since I can't with foresight swap for a specific shop, and they don't take split payment, etc all the issues with their system.
Was it worth it? The saving I mean. There is a new gift card issue literally every day of the week on here. Yes, gift cards are more difficult to spend than cash. Yes, they make it harder for refunds. Yes, they have more $%^& go wrong with them. Yes, they seem to have a higher fraud risk. Worth the hassle and risk to save a few bucks? Only you can answer that
