What benefit would that have over this?
I expect it'll cost similarly (if not more) to the 7900X, but while the 4 less cores will make it worse for productivity, it should have notably better gaming performance when CPU limited - see how much the 5800x3d improved over the 5800x in games to get an idea.
Huge gaming performance boost, similar productivity performance.
They all have infinity cache, they call the cache chiplet stacked on top 3D V-Cache.

Are we hodling for Zen4-3D? I'm not sure I'm going to make it, the 7900XTX comes out tomorrow… I'm gaming at 4K, a 7700X seems like it'll be good enough (a 7600X is probably good enough).
I am
hodling for motherboards
