3 of our AtralPool pumps died at once (heater/water feature/spa). I bought the budget ones from Bunnings HyClor. The pump threads are different and they won't swap, I searched everywhere and couldn't find if there are thread adapters, to avoid me redoing the whole pluming, any idea anyone?
Cheers

"Surprised all 3 died at once."
electrical surge?
.Actually now that I thought about it, one lost suctiin a few months ago, one lost suction now and the other died at the same time, so I should hvmave said 3 needed replacement at the same time. Just wear and tear old pumps.
Thanks.
But thats what I meant I wanted to avoid if there are adapters….which I'm surprised there may not be.They are almost 7 years old, so is expected.
You could potentially model and 3D print one.
Take both items to hose/pipe supplier.
They will give you an adaptor.
Maybe post a picture
You'll need to cut the old unions off and glue the new ones on. Failing that return the Bunnings pumps and get the same ones that failed.
There isn't enough pipe on the old connection, which will turn into a bigger job, old pumps are 3x as expensive. Thanks for your thoughts though.
which will turn into a bigger job
In the time you have spent writing and reading this thread you could have made the new joins with my instructions above. It's literally a 2 minute job per join.
Post a picture and I could probably tell you what is required.
You won't have to redo all the plumbing. I assume it's 50mm PVC?
You will need to cut off the old attachment point, add a 50mm coupling then a section of pipe cut to appropriate length then the new attachment which came with the pump. Make sure you use pressure rated glue, couplings and pipe.
It will look a bit messy but will do the job. Measure twice - cut and glue once.
Did the pumps run dry for an extended time? Surprised all 3 died at once.
