    I have one of these and is generally happy with it. The only drawback I've found is being on MS Teams calls via the ethernet connection. It works for a couple of minutes and then just disconnects.

    I've briefly looked into it and it looks like a common problem with Teams and ethernet connections via usb hubs.

    My wifi is good enough for this not to bother me.

    Probably not. Data only would imply that it is not connected to a GPU.

    The Hub it self doesn't need power to Work. It runs off your USB C port

    If you want to change your device via the hub, use USB C via a phone charger/ power bank if devices is low powered. Otherwise use your laptop charger to charge the laptop.

      I just plug a 65w+ charger into the PD port and it charges the laptop. No need to double up on the laptop charger. That's the beauty of these things, and the main reason I got one and a GaN charger to avoid doubling up

        The cable connecting the hub to the laptop, that looks very short. Any way to lengthen it? Does it come out or is it hardwired?

        EDIT: I would put the hub under the desk (hidden) and just have 1 cable showing on desk which is running from hub to laptop.

          @Pbm33: Hard-wired. I bought a short usb c male to female for times when I need to put it out of the way
