Amazon Hub Locker Charlie in Comm Bank Chatswood Mysteriously Disappeared?

UPDATE: The locker is back! No idea where it was hiding over the weekend but I assume somewhere in the branch as it was back just after they opened on Monday.

Just went to pick up a package that was delivered yesterday to the Amazon Hub Locker Charlie inside Commonwealth Bank in Chatswood NSW.

It's usually a 24/7 locker, however when I rocked up, the foyer area where it normally sits was being re-tiled and the locker was nowhere to be seen! Was a bit confused as I usually get parcels delivered there and it's pretty reliable. I had a sticky beak through the window into the branch and couldn't see it anywhere. The tilers were no help at all either. I only have one day left to pick it up before it is automatically returned for a refund. I wonder if the delivery driver will even be able to find it though. It was a pretty rare item that had been back ordered for 6 months so hopefully customer service can help me out, although I've been hung up on by the agent twice now -_-

Anyway, those who use the Locker, beware - it's disappeared!

    • Yeah just saw that. My package must have been delivered yesterday and is probably sitting in the locker somewhere.

      • Ask those tilers when the job finished or when the area reopen, the lockers should be back then.

        • Yeah I asked and they said Monday. I was worried that typically you only get three days to pick up a parcel before amazing collect it and automatically refund you. Amazon customer service had. I idea what to do about it but I and up with the idea to just get an extension. The locker shouldn’t be out of order for too long - and the bank will be back open Monday.

      • ask amazon, it might be at another location, last time my parcel was sent to next suburb due to the nearest one is closed.

        • According to Amazon it was definitely was delivered. It must be in the locker, wherever that is, while they renovate

          • @art-fanatic: What happen to me last time was the item delivered to the nearest available place, so better ask Amazon for the tracking address, might be different to the address you choose.
